Mojave Gold’s Commitment and Local Impact

Mojave Gold is dedicated to sustainability and aims for a zero-waste kitchen. The venue plans to expand its menu to include brunch by August, appealing to a wider range of guests. Founder Greg Gordon designed the space using reclaimed wood from the Hollywood Bowl, adding historic charm to the modern establishment.

The opening of Mojave Gold provides a welcomed dining option for local residents who previously traveled to Palm Springs for similar experiences. The increased population and tourist activity in the surrounding areas, particularly around Joshua Tree National Park, have significantly impacted local businesses and community dynamics, with more dining establishments emerging to serve the growing demand.

David Catching, co-founder of Rancho de la Luna, underscores the evolution of Joshua Tree’s food scene, noting the growth in dining options and tourist traffic in the area. In addition, the Beneath The Desert Sky Concert Series is set to highlight local musicians, with performances scheduled at the Indian Cove Amphitheater within Joshua Tree National Park, further enhancing the local cultural landscape. Tickets for events can be acquired via the Joshua Tree National Park Association’s official website.
