Among the highlights of the weekend, the Street League Skateboarding event at Santa Monica Pier kicks things off on May 23 at 2 p.m. This free event will showcase live skater competitions along with local food vendors.

This Sunday, the Annual Queer Vegan Night Market will be hosted by The Plant Base LA and Vegan From Mars in Inglewood from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is free, with over 15 vendors offering cruelty-free products.

Also on May 23, L.A. Fleet Week will commence and run through May 26. This event will feature ship tours, live entertainment, and a touching Memorial Day tribute, all free of charge for attendees.
